First acquaintance with Symfony

In spite of 5 years of experience in software development, I can’t boast of knowledge of any well-known framework for web development. I was using my own libraries. But recently I’ve heard a lot about Symfony and a few days ago my friend told me that at his work they use Symfony. I decided to check what it is.

Well, frankly speaking, my acquaintance with it has limited to reading some general information and watching some video clips on the topic. By the way, the videos are very demonstrative – you understand the essence of the system at once. And they claim that Symfony is the best tool for rapid website development (just with a click of a mouse). I’m not sure about it so I’m going to chak it and share my impressions and opinions.

Recently the biggest landlord office in Los Angeles, California has claimed that they have reduced their debts and they have stored some cash. Nevertheless lot of work should be done before the company will become profitable again. The company which is famous for it’s skyscrapers has finished the year with profits only because they sold some of the buildings.

This is the largest landlord company in LA which owns many prominent building all over the country – Denver, San Diego and etc.

The president was really happy to announce that the staff managed to cut down the debts and to improve the company’s position.

The firm got into debts some years ago, but when the new president came, he started the aggressive politics to expand and to buy more property. But the nest president tries to get rid of all acquisitions made before and he sold lots of assets and made the company leave the part of the debt.

During the hard years of crisis the firm lowed the rent in their buildings and in such a way improves the situation inside the company. The current president is full of optimism that the worse is over.

Very often the clue of a new invention appears in one’s head and is being developed in the other’s one.

Just remember French writer Jules Verne and his bunch of fantastic ideas described in his novels. Most of them are real now. One day Czech writer Karel Capek has used the word “robot” for the first time and now we have dosens of robots of different types. And at last (wow, I’ve managed!) let us think of James Bond who has used a pack of devices that were absolutely unreal for the time the book had been written. It is clear that the main two engines of the technical progress are business and government military sector. And in fact that two forces are working together to bring you the things you have used to.
